The reception was great. Lots of great music and food. It was a really great time. It was so nice seeing family and being a part of a day where we get another wonderful member of the Jetten crew.
And the pretty centerpieces ~ yes, the people at our table were a bit thirsty
We stayed up in the mountains for the weekend since it was closer to the wedding. Sunday morning, we woke up to a nice cool morning since the storms the day before really took that heat away. It was quite refreshing. When Jamie woke up, the kids gave him his cards. I hadn't gotten him any gifts yet. EEK! He really enjoyed the cards, especially since all the kids signed their own names (well Jenna did some scribbles but still). Uncle Frank made us some sausage before we left. I had to get home to Bear, since our neighbor Nathan was walking home and could only do it Sunday morning. On the way home, we dropped Jordan off with his dad. Since Jamie was still up in the mountains mowing with Uncle Frank, we went shopping for Daddy. He HATES getting gifts so I try to get him things that he needs so he can't get too mad at me for doing it. We got him cologne, a car charger for his cell phone, a Nike t-shirt and Nike shorts. All things he can use.
I must say that the trip there and back was much easier since Jamie got a DVD player installed in the van. Roof installation. It's really nice. The kids love it. We are waiting for 4 other headsets to come in so the kids can listen to whatever movie they want and I can listen to the radio.
