New Kids On The Block Concert!

I went to see my first boyfriend ever last night. You know, Joey McIntyre. And if you don't know who he is, please spare my heart and pretend you do. Jamie bought tickets for me and a bunch of friends to go see New Kids On The Block last night. I was so excited to go. I loved them so much! I got their new CD when it came out and LOVE IT. So I was super duper excited for the show.

So our seats were pretty awesome. We were in section 104, row F. We were right behind the people on the floor. Pretty far back by it was cool.

Before the show

So at one point of the show, the lights are all out and we are right next to one of the tunnels and out run the guys! We didn't realize it until they were past us! OMG! I was right next to them. So they were ushered up to this platform where a piano was and did some songs there. AMAZING! So cool!

And my other boyfriend, Donnie (Wahlberg in case you aren't up on your menbands...he he he) talking to the crowd.

The rest of my pictures, which came from my camera on my phone, were really hard to see. It really just is a big blob of lights so I won't bore you with those. I'll get you even better pictures when Katie and I go back for part 2. Yes, you read that right. Katie and I are seeing them again in Atlantic City! ROAD TRIP! Jamie tripped up and said if they were in the area that I could go again. Katie and I determined that New Jersey is totally in the circle of our area! Right?

It was a great show ~ an amazing mix of old songs and new songs. Almost every person was standing the entire time.

I actually saw a few people while there. Mandy Smith! She saw me and a lady sitting next to me said "I think that girl is trying to get your attention." We were close enough to yell to one another. And I got to see one of my best friends from high school, Holly! We cried! We hugged! It was a huge highlight getting to see Holly there.

So be looking for more pics after November 7th when Katie and I stalk Joey and Donnie and the other guys some more. I think we might make a career out of this.

  1. I love that you went to see them in concert! I missed the chance the first time around and though I wasn't as much of a diehard as most of my friends, I have debated going just to be able to live in that time capsule for a few hours.

Thanks so much for posting your pics and your recap - even if I miss the chance, I kind of feel like I was there just reading this!
