Mini-Day at Jacob's preschool

*sigh* My baby boy is going off to preschool. Well not officially until the 13th so I can hang onto him being my baby for a little longer. I don't listen any time he tells me he's a big boy. He just doesn't understand he'll always be my baby.

We signed Jacob up for preschool at the high school. I LOVE that preschool program. Jasmine did it. For those that have never heard of it, the child development class offers a preschool program. It's overseen by the teacher and all of her students are the preschoolers teachers.

Yesterday was the parent orientation. We turned in our paperwork, tuition fees and a presentation was given for what was expected of the children.

Today was the mini-day orientation for the kids. We dropped them off to stay for only a half hour. Just enough time to check out their surroundings and meet some of the teachers.

Jacob did really good. He was a little nervous but the student teachers did a great job of engaging him and having him go into the class. I think after a few days he'll be running in there. He's really excited about some upcoming things ~ the firemen are bringing their fire truck, they have a makeshift pumpkin patch and they go trick or treating in the school. He's sooo excited!

Be sure to check back on the 13th for pictures! Well after I wipe the tears away enough to post them!
