Jacob's First Day of Preschool

It's here. The day has come. Jacob went to preschool for the first day. *sigh* They all keep doing it. They all keep growing up when I clearly ask them all the time not to do it.

It took Jacob all of two seconds to wake up this morning and realize he had school today. Hopefully he'll always wake up this easily. The boy likes to sleep until 10 or 11 if you let him. He has to be to school at 8:35! Eek!

In front of the tree in front of our house ~ he picked the spot to take the picture

After I picked him up, he told me about his day. "I played with puzzles. I don't know my teachers names. I didn't make any friends yet. I don't know anything else I did. It was cool. Oh yeah, I didn't get in trouble either."

Well that will work. He said he didn't make any friends yet because he couldn't remember their names. He had a great time. After taking one of our laptops to the wonderful guys at the Best Buy Geek Squad (this is where I am being totally sarcastic and rolling my eyes. I guarantee I won't have this computer back for three months. They always screw me.), we went to lunch at McDonald's. My baby boy is growing up!

On a little other note, Jenna is not happy about this situation whatsoever. She wanted to go to school with him. She didn't want him to stay. She was a mess. I took her to Dunkin Donuts after we dropped all the kids off at school to cheer her up. It helped but she sure was happy when we got Jaocb. They gave each other a great big hug!
