What a day it has been! Jasmine was up bright and early at 5:30 when Daddy was leaving for work. Daddy, as usual, was the first to tell her Happy Birthday and give her a great big kiss. When I woke up at 6:30, she was sitting on my bed, grinning from ear to ear.
During the school day, everyone referred to her as The Birthday Girl. She got to pick out a birthday book, as every child does in the school on their birthday.
When she got home, her presents were waiting for her.
