James is a 3rd grader & Jasmine is a 2nd grader!

We had the open house at school today to find out the kids' teachers and their class rooms.

James got Miss Swan. She is a very sweet teacher and super nice. I think James will have a great year with her. This is her third year teaching at McAuliffe.

Jasmine got a new teacher, Mrs. Wyckoff. She is really nice as well. She is just as excited as Jasmine is to start the new year. Mrs. Wyckoff was actually a student of McAuliffe!!

On a very exciting note, McAuliffe has become a Focus School. What that boils down to is smaller class sizes! We even have 7, yes 7, Kindergarten classes as opposed to the 4 we had last year. Jasmine's class is starting with 15 kids, it may be only 13 as they think two have transfered. How awesome is that? I forgot to ask James' teacher how many were in his class. I'm remembering how the room was set up and I think it was 16.

Of course, before we left, we had to see Mrs. Howington. Jasmine was so excited to see her. She gave us all hugs. We saw pictures of baby Jaxson, who is just a little sweetheart.

I will have pictures of Jasmine tomorrow for her first day. James is at his mom's house this week so I won't have a picture of him.

It's official again ~ my kids keep growing up!
