It's getting close to that time where Daddy takes Bubba off to go squirrel hunting. Jacob is beyond excited and it's all he can talk about. We ordered his new pants, shirt and belt a little over a week ago. He wore it the day he got it here. Well, obviously you need hunting socks and boots too, right?
Jacob: Daddy, did you order my hunting boots?
Daddy: *Giggling* No, buddy. Mommy will take you to the store.
Me: Yeah Bubba. We can go look tomorrow. But we aren't buying them tomorrow, just going to look, ok?
Jacob: Do you have money?
Me: I have 8 bucks buddy. Boots cost more than 8 bucks.
Jacob: Daddy, you have monies, right?
Daddy: Yeah buddy. *chuckling* I'll leave Mommy money to get you boots.
Jacob is grinning like it's Christmas morning and Jamie and I just shake our heads, laughing, knowing this boy, at 4 years old, knows how to work us good!
