Game #1 vs. Silver Spring

The day has come. James and Jasmine's first real football game! They were so excited. We had to be there at 9:45 for James' 11:30 game and then Jasmine was cheering from 2:30 to 5:30. It was hot. And there was no shade. If anyone wants to buy us a canopy tent, we'd gladly take it. ;-) Jaylynn isn't feeling good. I'm hoping it's just her teeth but either way, she still doesn't want me to put her down so my arms were quite tired by days end. Besides holding her and it being really hot, it was a great day.

We played against the Silver Spring Saints. James' team won 20-7! YAY! James saw a lot of playing time and got a few hits. He's really stepped up his game and listened to what Daddy and his coaches have been telling him. He's really enjoying it, even though it's so much work. Practices 5 days a week! Once school starts, they go to 3 days a week.

Jasmine cheered with the younger squad (well the 8-10 group, she's in the 10-13 group...) some and then cheered with her own. She did great and even got to yell out "Ready? OK!" during their cheers during half time. The little one on the field and she boomed that voice.

Here's some pictures highlighting their day...

James isn't in these next two pictures. They are just really neat.
